Homemade Brownies

It’s snowing this evening and there is a definite chill in the air. For dinner, I made chilli which is always perfect for a snowy night. Then I wanted to make simple, tasty dessert and I decided on homemade brownies. If you love chocolate, you will enjoy this recipe!! It’s easy to prepare and takes only 30 minutes to bake!!

Ingredients

1/2 cup salted butter, melted

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees

2. Spray and 8×8 inch pan with baking spray (I use Pam Baking Spray)

3. Mix melted butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract

4. Whisk in flour, baking powder and cocoa powder

5. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes
