Health Benefits of Coffee ☕

I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite things in the morning is having a cup of coffee. I love how it smells when it’s brewing as well as the taste. Now, the only things that I like to add to my coffee is Almond Milk with a dash of tumeric or cinnamon.

If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, I tend to look for a couple health benefits to help you Achieve Complete Wellness. To my surprise, there are some amazing benefits to drinking a cup of coffee and below are a few of them.

1. It boosts energy levels and fights off fatigue.

2. It has antioxidants.

3. It supports heart health.

The one thing that I’ve learned throughout the years is that the oils from coffee beans hold the majority of the flavor and many filters stop the oils from going into your coffee. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend a French Press. Once you taste coffee from a French Press, you will never go back!!! It’s amazing!!

Health Benefits of Pumpkins

imageOctober 3rd. and I have pumpkin on my mind.  I love to cook and bake and now that fall is here, it is exciting to think about my favorite fall recipes.  The great thing about pumpkin is all of the health benefits that using pumpkin provides.  Pumpkin is a nutrient dense food and it is full of vitamins and minerals but they are also low on calories.  They are also rich in fiber which slows digestion and gives you the feeling of being full.  In just one cup of pumpkin, there are seven grams of fiber.  So, dust off your recipe books and do a little cooking with pumpkin!!!

As the season progresses, I will post my favorite recipes such as my Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies, Pumpkin Soup recipe and so on.  I hope that you have a wonderful day and enjoy this fall weather!!!! 🙂
