Sunday Night Pasta Night

Broccoli, Italian Sausage & Rotini

I decided to try a different recipe tonight for dinner. Of course, since I’m Italian, the first thing that I think of is pasta!!! 🀣🀣🀣 So, I thought that I would share this recipe with you!!


β€’ 1 lb rotini pasta

β€’ 1 lb frozen broccoli florets

β€’ 8 ounces Mild Italian Sausage (I take the sausage out of its casing)

β€’ 2-3 cloves of fresh garlic

β€’ 2-3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

β€’ 3 tablespoons butter

β€’ 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese


1. Boil the water and cook the Rotini according to directions on the back of the box.

2. While the pasta is cooking, pour the olive oil into a deep pan and then add the fresh garlic, Italian Sausage and Frozen Broccoli and cook at medium heat. Stir occasionally. It takes about 20 minutes to cook.

3. Once the pasta is done, add the Rotini to the pan with the sausage, broccoli and garlic. Add the butter and parmesan cheese and stir.

4. Add more cheese if you want to!!
