I just love to bake, especially around the holidays!!! Over to the weekend, we were watching a Christmas movie and the main character said that their favorite cooking was a Christmas Snickerdoodle! Not knowing what it was, I did some research about this cookie and learned that it’s a cookie made with cinnamon and sugar. Well, that was all I needed to hear and I was off to the kitchen to bake!!!! π We decided that this cookie is one of our new favorites – right up there with my pizelles and biscotti recipe. So, if you haven’t tried them, it’s definitely worth taking some time this holiday to bake a batch!!
Ingredients
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter, salted, softened
2 large Eggs
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Sugar Mixture
3 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions
1. Heat oven to 400Β°F.
2. Combine all cookie ingredients in bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
3. Stir together 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in another bowl.
4. Shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls; roll in sugar mixture. Place, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
5. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned

Hope you enjoy this recipe!!! πβοΈπ
