Enjoying the Little Things

Summer is such a beautiful season. I love watching our flowers and garden grow right before my very eyes. Each day, there is something new to see whether it’s a new flower bud or a daylily that has just opened up. My husband and I love walking around our garden and enjoy how beautiful it is.

I was thinking about how often do we actually take time to enjoy the little things like an beautiful sunset, a gentle breeze on a warm day, the sound of the birds chirping. In the world today, we are easily distracted by the everyday things or to do lists that we forget to enjoy the little things.

So today, when you get a moment, take a few minutes out of your busy day to enjoy the beauty that’s around you. Soak it in, take a deep breath and enjoy.
