One thing that I am incorporating into my daily routine is drinking more water on a daily basis. I love adding a slice of lemon to add a little flavor to my water, but I did not know all the health benefits of having lemon water.
Lemons have a ton of nutrients including vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, calcium, potassium and fiber to name a few. It is best to drink a glass in the morning approximately 15 – 30 minutes before having breakfast.
Some of the health benefits of drinking lemon water include:
- Reduces inflammation
- Aids digestion
- Keeps your skin blemish free
- Helps with weight loss
- Gives your system an immune boost
- Cleanses your system
- Reduces wrinkles
- Helps flush out unwanted materials
- Helps tooth pain.
So, not only is drinking water healthy for you to do on a daily basis, but throw in a slice of lemon to it and see how better you feel!!!!
